This Privacy Policy explains how A N S FOODS ("ANS Foods", "we", "us"), Kakkazhom P.O., Alappuzha, Kerala, India, collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use this website or buy from us. We follow the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as applicable.

1. Information we collect

Order and contact details: name, mobile number, email address (optional), delivery address, district and PIN code.
Order details: products, quantities, amounts, order ID and order status.
Payment details: payment status, transaction or reference ID and payment method type, received from our payment gateway. We do not collect or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking password; these are handled directly by Cashfree Payments.
Communication: messages you send us on WhatsApp, phone or email.
Technical data: basic information such as browser type, device and IP address, recorded by our servers for security and troubleshooting.

2. How we use your information

To process, confirm, pack and deliver your orders and to collect payment.
To contact you about your order, delivery, cancellation, refund or support requests (including by WhatsApp, SMS, phone or email).
To process refunds and handle complaints.
To keep accounts and records required by tax and other laws.
To keep the website secure and prevent fraud.
To send you offers only if you ask for them; you can opt out at any time.

3. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run our business:

Payment processor: Cashfree Payments India Pvt. Ltd., to process online payments and refunds, under its own privacy policy.
Delivery partners: courier and delivery companies, who receive your name, phone number and delivery address to deliver your order.
Service providers: hosting and IT providers that run this website, bound to keep your data confidential.
Authorities: government or law-enforcement agencies when required by law.

4. Cookies and browser storage

The website uses your browser's local storage to remember your cart and language preference. Our payment partner may set cookies needed to complete a payment securely. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear cookies and site data in your browser settings; the cart may then be emptied.

5. Data security and retention

We use reasonable security measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and restricted access to order data. We keep order and payment records for as long as needed to fulfil orders and as required by law (for example, tax records), and then delete or anonymise them.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent to marketing messages, by writing to ansfoods1234@gmail.com. Some records (such as invoices) must be kept for legal reasons even after a deletion request.

7. Children

Our website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 without the consent of a parent or guardian.
